The marathon route in Helsinki is one of the most beautiful worldwide, it being significantly affected by the sea and the parks. Almost half of the route runs along the Baltic Sea coastline, and the course going through magnificent parks will guarantee you an unforgettable marathon running experience.

The Runners will have an overlook of the architecture and culture of Finland's capital, also known as the white city of the Baltic Sea. The runner will face a part of the historical and the most beautiful Helsinki: the Olympic Stadium, the Finlandia Hall, the House of Parliament, Nokia House, Lauttasaari-Island, Kaivopuisto-Park and Esplanadi-street and a part of the architecturally interesting city centre are all located along the marathon route. 

Furthermore, the Helsinki City Marathon runners will have a great opportunity to explore Helsinki and its leisure activities during the entire summer weekend.
